For my report, is there a way for me to manually key in the report number?
Yes.
System -> Administrative Tools -> Document No. -> Uncheck Auto increment
Example: Manually key in Sales Order and Sales Invoice number
For Sales Order and Sales Invoice with different prefix, key in the prefix to preset for each report.
